      Does this sound like you?

Is this your first time being a human? It can be complicated and weird! From the outside, you might look like you have it all together, but inside your mind never stops spinning. Maybe you lie awake at night making plans for every worst-case scenario. Or you’re exhausted from second-guessing every decision, every word, every interaction, every day. You’ve tried being tougher, calmer, more “rational,” but the worry keeps showing up. You may find yourself wondering if you’re doing life “wrong.” I can promise you: you’re not! There’s no how-to manual to help navigate the many challenges of being alive: anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, religious baggage, sexual and gender identity questions, neurodivergence, or simply staying focused amongst many competing forces looking to capture your time. Nevertheless, here you are. Trying your best.
You’ve done your best with the tools you have. Your patterns of being have gotten you through the most difficult moments of your life. However, maybe you find that you want to try something different in a new and safer environment. Amidst these struggles or transitions, you’re taking the brave step of sharing your experiences and hoping for greater well-being.

      Can Therapy Help?

Absolutely, with just one catch: You have to show up. I especially love working with clients who are figuring out how to be themselves in a world which doesn’t always make space for authenticity. You may be dealing with cultural pressures, wrestling with self-worth, or navigating relationships and identity changes. Whatever it is, you don’t have to do it alone. You just need to reach out and get started.

      How can I help?

My therapeutic approach is deeply narrative, queer, feminist, and person-centered. What does that actually look like for you? It means I see you as the expert in your own life, not as someone who needs fixing. I’m here to help you unpack your story, exploring how societal expectations or past experiences might be impacting you, and empowering you to author your own path forward. My expertise lies in helping you connect with your inner wisdom.

In session I’m collaborative, compassionate, curious, and fun. We’ll work together, side-by-side, to make sense of your experiences. I’ll ask good questions, always meeting you with non-judgmental support, and holding space for both the heavy stuff and the genuine laughs. Therapy doesn’t have to be all serious, all the time! We can find joy and lightness even as we tackle the tough stuff! My experience with diverse clients means I tailor each session to your unique needs and comfort.

      When I'm not at Work

You can often find me at the park with my dogs, Wingding and The Ruckus; curled up on the couch reading with my cats, Walker Texas Kitty and Beef; diving into a new video game; crafting adventures in D&D; or volunteering with queer youth in our community. Ask me about my favorites (books, movies, video games, etc.) I’m always happy to share!
